 Patrick Burssens began riding at the age of 4 and entered his first competition at 8 years of age. Six years later he became Belgium’s National Junior Champion and continued on to become the National Champion of Belgium by age 21. He relocated to Mexico in 1986 and went on to represent Mexico in the Pan American Games, Central American Games and World Cup, becoming the Mexican National Champion in 1992. In 1997 Patrick settled in South Florida where he continues to compete and train internationally. He is a national judge and currently gives clinics in different countries in South and North America
